SAFETY-FIRST APPROACH
Health and safety is the prime priority in order to promote the wellness of both employers and employees. We acknowledge the importance of health and safety awareness among our candidates to prevent work related injuries and other serious hazards. In order to meet the quality standard of the clients, Ever Source Staffing provides health and safety awareness, GMP’S, WHIMS along with workplace, harassment, training to all the candidates. Through education, training, competent supervision, appropriate protective equipment and best practices, Ever Source Staffing team will take every reasonable precaution necessary to guarantee the protection of all employees while ensuring that we meet all legislated health and safety requirements within each region where Ever Source Staffing operates.
It’s important to communicate the scope of each assignment to our employees. This ensures they have a clear understanding of their responsibilities, including any operational or safety requirements.
Employees are entitled to three fundamental rights concerning workplace health and safety:
1. The Right to Know: Employees have the right to be informed about any health and safety hazards present in the workplace.
2. The Right to Participate: Employees have the right to contribute to decisions and recommendations regarding health and safety matters in the workplace.
3. The Right to Refuse: Employees have the right to refuse work if they have reasonable grounds to believe that it poses a risk to their health and safety.
Ahead of commencing any assignment, it is imperative for all candidates to review our health and safety policies thoroughly. As part of our application process, candidates will engage with the Ministry of Labour’s Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps program, which provides comprehensive insights into workplace health and safety protocols.
For employees tasked with handling, storing, or transporting hazardous materials, we collaborate with our employer partners to deliver comprehensive orientation and training on the Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) and Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG).
Prior to embarking on any assignment, all employees will receive detailed information regarding the following crucial policies:

At times, existing employees may assume new responsibilities or necessitate cross-training on novel equipment or machinery. In such instances, supplementary education may be essential, potentially entailing on-site or off-site instruction at specialized training facilities.
As part of our commitment to keeping our employees safe, we regularly check in with new hires to make sure they understand their roles and to address any health and safety concerns at their workplace. Our primary objective is to proactively prevent accidents within our workplace. However, should an incident occur, our commitment remains unwavering. We swiftly provide our employees with immediate assistance and meticulously follow accident investigation procedures to pinpoint and mitigate workplace hazards.
Furthermore, we extend our full support to employees during their recovery process and strive to accommodate their safe return to work whenever feasible.
In exceptional circumstances, such as the Covid-19 pandemic, it may be necessary to augment existing health and safety protocols. As a proactive measure, we have introduced supplementary controls, including:
– Conducting regular check-ins with all employees to update and reinforce our policies
– Implementing symptom checks for employees
– Enforcing social distancing measures within the workplace
– Enhancing cleaning and disinfection protocols to minimize risk
– Installing physical or protective barriers, where feasible
– Providing personal protective equipment (PPE), including the mandatory use of masks
